The Communist Chinese have held a world trade surplus with the US for the last 30 years. In which our market has been more open than their market. In which today it is even worse. As now our market is being destroyed as our business move there because their's is so protected.
If we where to use shell's for trade. Then we would say that the Communist Chinese are not allowing the US to have a fair number of shells to trade with them in the count. This goes back to old western style economic warfare between trader's. They used to use beaver pelt's and other staples to trade. However, if they did not have a gold or a care for the substance. Then they would just trade outright, for a certain number of beaver pelts for a certain number of goods for the kids and the Misses back at the old stead.
So let's say the Communist Chinese have a store in which they want to trade pelt's with the US. The Communist Chinese are currently giving such a cheap return on pelt's it forces the US out of the pelt business as it is just cheaper for the Communist Chinese store to have their folks do the world and feed their stead instead of trading fair with the US beaver traders. Old sticky buns heard this one. This means that for every one pelt the US receives value for, the Communist Chinese store gains six pelts worth of value. Which means it is just cheaper in the market place to allow them to get their own petls and monopolize the industry. As the US beaver pelter can't keep up with the trade and feed his family.
Then again, the US as it own's the territory in which the Communist Chinese store sits. Could place sanctions on the store, so that they could not go and hunt pelt's as their trade is to unfair to allow the store stead to hunt. This then would force the store to start to rethink its process, as the US will stop hunting pelts for the store and the Communist Store instead of the US pelt trader will go out of business.
Then once the Commy store that unfairly tried to destroy the US pelt trade goes out of business. The US owner could allow another store to open up and trade with them at a fairer value for their family and stead. Thus the only person really losing here is the Communist for being greedy. As there are many stores in this world that would love to trade with us and have the same product with much less determent to the US territories.
Which is some oliscoul Rusky US beaver trader stuff if you know the history.
See what was happening was in that there story. Was the Rusky stores where unfairly trading with the beaver pelter's. Where they would not give them fair necessity trade and where making so much they where starting to buy up whole tribes and beavers and forcing the beaver pelter's individual ownership and lands to go out of business. So some old Cowboys and Mexi's had to ride on up yonder way for a while to say high to the Rusky stores to make sure the BTK funds where properly dispersed to the necessary ares of local natives and US citizen's. like that.

The only arguable one is their currency floating. Which over ten years has floated around 6% where as their economic growth as floated around 120%. Which is not a proper currency float as comparative. to Fair trade and balance of payments.
